Cal Uncial Rough is a calligraphic font style based upon sketches written with walking cane calligraphy pen and ink on coarse-textured paper. Because of the fact that the Uncial do not have lowercase letters, there are little capitals rather of the lowercase. As the Latin variation of the Uncial was developed from the Greek Uncial script (equating the Bible from Greek into Latin), in addition to the basic Latin graphemes, the font style includes the Greek alphabet (and likewise the Cyrillic letters (Ustav), stemmed from the Greek Uncial too). Regardless of the stylistic connection, there is a distinction in between the morphology of related Greek, Latin and Cyrillic letters.
