Developed by Joël Carrouché, Calima is a sans serif font household. This typeface has six designs and was released by JCfonts.

Calima is a humanist sans serif family offered in 6 weights.

Its style roadmap was quite basic: try to bring the dynamism and spontaneity of italics to a stable sans serif.

The result is a fresh and spirited typeface with tidy lines, equally suited for short text and display screen uses.

The fonts, readily available in Opentype format, include diacritics for many European languages and a variety of Opentype features: oldstyle and tabular figures, subscript and superscript, fractions, case-sensitive kinds, localized kinds and more.
