Candara was created by Gary Munch and published by Ascender. Candara contains 4 designs and household plan choices. p > Candara is a casual humanist sans with verticals revealing a stylish entasis on stems, high-branching games in the lowercase, large apertures in all open forms, and special ogee curves on diagonals. The resultant texture is vibrant however not intrusive, and makes for a friendly and understandable text.

Candara was tuned for ClearType rendering environment and is included with Windows Vista and Workplace 2007.
