Carilliantine updates the natural curves of Art Nouveau typefaces epitomized by John F. Cumming's Desdemona, developed around 1886.

A contemporary monoline sans reinterpretation rather than a more conventional serif, its high-waisted emphasis lends it an elegance and class.

Carilliantine is brimming with numerous two- and three-letter ligatures that bring a personalized uniqueness to any heading. These are on by default, and can be toggled on or off in the Opentype palette of Adobe apps, or selected separately according to taste from the Glyphs menu.

Suitable for upmarket food product packaging, red wine labels, dining establishments, folk bands, sword and sorcery trilogies, cosmetics and style brand names that nod to the improvement of yesteryear, but are extremely much of today.
