Developed by David Kerkhoff, Castle On The Hill is a hand drawn font family. This typeface has two designs and was published by Hanoded.

When I began working on this font, I had the radio on. Ed Sheeran was singing his tune 'Castle On The Hill' and when I took a look at this new font style of mine, I could not help but see it had a little bit of a medieval appearance. So I named it Castle On The Hill.

COTH is an extremely dynamic, unpleasant handpainted serif. It was made with a Japanese brush pen. I in fact had a different look in mind, however this is what came out of the pen and I quite liked its looks. It is specifically helpful for children's book covers, apps and posters, however be my guest and use it as you like.

All it requires is a designers' touch, a good tune and a sunset.
