Claude Duflos was a French engraver and printmaker at the end of the 1600s.

He produced a variety of beautiful plates, carried out principally with the graver very nicely finished. At the base of his work we can appreciate his legible lettering carefully executed with his specific ductus.

During this period 3 various hands were established in France: Ronde (an script obtaining from "Civilité"), "Lettre Italianne" and Bâtarde Coulée that is an adjustment of ronde. The hand of signed up with letters, which provided itself to a quick writing, ended up being a design for English round hand or copperplate style.
CDuflos is our typographic interpretation of the lettering design produced by Claude Duflos.

CDuflos is provided in two versions: Basic and Prolonged Pro, which consist of diacritics for Central European languages.

The Pro variation also includes a set of ornamental glyphs consisting of ligatures, alternates and swashes, consisting of terminal letters and a set of ornaments.
