Created by Missy Meyer, Cheesy Grits is a hand display screen and kids typeface household. This typeface has two styles and was published by Missy Meyer.

I 'd never ever had grits until I relocated to Florida around ten years ago. Practically all over I found them, they were loaded up with cheese. Which ... I'm never going to complain about included cheese, folks.

Cheesy Grits is an enjoyable, fat, blobby font style that's perfect for logo designs, branding, packaging, crafts, and loads of other tasks. It has 2 uppercase sets for range, plus a few additional double-letter ligatures and alternates.

I liked making Cheesy Grits so much, I decided to make a 2nd "slim" version—— still as quirky and enjoyable, but with thinner strokes, simply so you have options!

BONUS! I'm attempting something new with this one: if you have software application that's friendly to OpenType features (like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop CC, or the most recent Shape Studio Designer Edition), you're currently great to go—— whatever can be accessed through your Glyphs panel.

If, however, your style program does not have that built-in gain access to, and you usually tend to utilize a secondary program like Character Map or Font Book, I have a treat for you! Your download includes a PDF with all of the characters included on it; instead of utilizing Character Map/Font Book, you can copy the characters you desire from the PDF, and paste them directly into your style program!

Cheesy Grits features my normal set of 300+ extended Latin characters for language support—— and they're all included in the PDF as well!
