Circus Didot was developed by Danila Orlovsky and released by ParaType. Circus Didot consists of 1 style. p > Circus Didot typeface presents a rework of a normal neoclassical serif type in a constructivist design. Examining the shapes of characters author placed fundamental geometric figures - triangles, rectangular shapes, circles ... above the contours of letters.

Resulting constructions staying identifiable letters at the same time bore a similarity to images of Russian progressive artists from 20th century. This discovery has brought a concept to design a typeface where the propensity of a modern-day serif type to rationalism and geometry is recognized in maximum possible level. The models for the job were taken from the works of Didot, lettering experiments of Russian constructivists and art deco art work.

The technique of managing with shapes and general grotesque technique to the style explains the selection of the name for the typeface.
