Inspired by the lettering of Ansis Cīrulus (1883-1942) one of the very first Eastern European designers. The artist's heritage is identified by letters with uneven widths, chopped cuts and numerous intrinsic features. By thoroughly studying types and origins of the letters Asketic created a brand-new typeface that in a modern style relives early 20th century nationwide romanticism of Eastern Europe.
