Developed by Patrick Griffin, Classic Comic is a comic typeface household. This typeface has six designs and was published by Canada Type.

Classic Comic is the fourth household of Canada Type's long-running series of comic book font styles. It feels right in the house along with Collector Comic, Captain Comic and Caper Comic.

Rather than following a particular model, Traditional Comic's types are constructed with the natural tilt and larger aperture of the somewhat darker lettering found in older comics on either side of the Atlantic. Two extremely interchangeable sets of caps are readily available in regular, medium and strong weights, with italic counterparts, all in one style-linked and economical package.

Classic Comic can be found in all popular formats, and includes prolonged language assistance covering most Latin languages, in addition to Cyrillic and Greek.
