Coline is a typeface household especially developed for pocket books. The three versions, Coline Best, Coline Cursive and Coline Extreme, and their weights enable a big variety of contrasts to extend the conventional opposition roman/italic; each Coline has its own rhythm, angle, instrokes and outstrokes.
Three variations growing from a strong pure roman to a nearly handwritten design. From the classical factor to the romantic mind.
The name "Coline" is a homage to the french printer Simon de Collines, among the first printers to release little and therefore low-cost pocket books intended for students.
Second family member, Coline Cursive is influenced by handwriting and makes a vibrant buddy for the other members.
