Created by David Kerkhoff, Colporteur is a dingbat and hand show typeface household. This typeface has seven styles and was published by Hanoded.

A Colporteur is a peddler of books, newspapers, and similar literature. When I was young, we typically got visits from colporteurs - primarily they wanted to offer us an extremely costly encyclopaedia. I haven't seen them for a while - the web probably eliminated their trade, as there are numerous complimentary encyclopaedias out there.

Colporteur font won't try to offer you stuff - it basically offers itself. It is a jolly serif household of 6 designs plus a really helpful doodle style filled with arrows. Use it to offer your encyclopaedia online, write a book and utilize if for the cover or develop a 'hunt the colporteur' video game.

Comes with an encyclopaedic knowledge of diacritics too!
