Inspired by the carvings on meso-American monoliths, David Lemon of Adobe's type personnel developed Copal. It's named after a resin that was burned as incense by ancient cultures and which is utilized today as a binding representative in printer's inks and varnishes. The typefaces in Copal can be used separately or combined to achieve chromatic effects. Try the decorated letters in headings when you require a burst of primitive energy.
