Cranach was designed by Ralph Unger and published by profonts. Cranach contains 2 designs and household package options. p > This picturesque, beautiful German Blackletter typeface was initially released by Benjamin Becker Succ, Frankfurt am Main, then named 'Künstlergotisch'.

Ralph M. Unger upgraded, digitally remastered and finished the typeface based on old catalogues/specimen. In honor of the famous Cranach family, German artists in middle ages times, we relabelled the font after them.

The shadowed variation was added for even more attractive purposes, e.g. in headlines.
