Here in the heart of Santa Monica, in the obsolete 1940's airplane garage we like to call the Comicraft Studios, we understand that times are difficult. As we were driving to "work" in the back of our chauffer driven Humvee limousine, sipping martinis out of the navels of Playboy bunnies and wondering what typeface we need to release next, we chose it was time to reach out to the poor individuals. Yes, we felt it was time to create a font for the huddled masses yearning to breathe complimentary, for the wretched refuse of our teeming shores. A typeface, if you will, for the tempest-tost.

It was a tall order, but Jazzy JG Roshell produced this one while he was in line at the bank, awaiting his individual bailout. Diligently crafted using just one of those ballpoint pens connected to the cashier's station by flexible, CreditCrunch is the Hamburger Assistant of comic book fonts. It's sort of a hybrid—— much like the Priuses our trophy other halves drive to their individual plastic surgeons—— and it's solar energy and also features a tank loaded with excellent old fashioned Biro ink.
