Developed by James Todd, Cresta is a sans serif font style family. This typeface has twelve designs and was published by JTD.

Loaded with character and performance, Cresta is built to look good while surviving the worst conditions. It is at house on screen and in a magazine. Its 6 weights are meant to be used everywhere.

Unlike most typefaces, Cresta was constructed without a reference. For this task, everything style option was based upon what worked finest for a workhorse sans serif family.

Cresta was originally produced as the primary typeface for this site. This meant it needed to operate in copy, headlines, and navigation throughout all gadgets, web browsers and operating systems. This indicated it required to be strong and have enough character to make it stand apart from other UI typefaces.

With its big x-height, ample counters, and giant apertures, Cresta is implied for simple energy in rough conditions. Even with all of this, that does not indicate that its dull; as the weights increase, the design of Cresta ends up being more appearant. This design is specified most obviously by the terminals on the lowercase r and the angle of the joins in between the curved and straight strokes (such as in the connection on the n).
