Deccan is a big plateau making up many of the southern part of India, however the Deccan typeface is a beautiful slab serif, with soft terminals. Its design is very friendly. The letterforms call the most intriguing 19th century British contemporary types to mind, in addition to quality 1970s digital faces.

At its core, Deccan is a text face, however the Strong weight is an outstanding choice for editorial or product packaging style. The Lightweight makes a great heading option as well.
