When individuals typically believe of wood type, pictures of vibrant and ornate styles similar to the Old West or the Victorian Period pertained to mind.
In fact, wood type was produced well into the late 20th century, and only fell out of favor when the letterpress was replaced by the balanced out press and electronic typesetting.
Although there are hard-core collectors who have started a small renewal in the conservation and use of wood type, it's the digital analyses of these traditional faces that see the most utilize in today's electronic design work.
Deco Wood Type JNL reinterprets one of these later designs, a strong sans with a decidedly Art Deco influence.
