Dekalb was designed by Pablo Medina and published by Design is Culture. Dekalb includes 8 designs and family package choices. p > The idea for the typeface Dekalb was born in 2013 after a day of photographing signage, murals and graffiti around Dekalb and Wyckoff opportunities in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The initial drafts of the letterforms were first made into a single ultra-weight font style that I utilized while working as the Creative Director for Tennis Shoe News Magazine. After having made its first look in Sneaker News, I chose to broadened Dekalb to an eight design family.
