DF Park stems from an opportunistic attempt to establish a visual language for a substantial theme structure for a nation hosting a universal exhibit about food. The subject of the strip of greenhouses dealt with the history of biodiversity with it's scope on food production. The typefaces set (6 styles) is developed not only to move the content of the exhibit however also to dress up the greenhouses facades with its lines and patterns. All the characters are made up of hand-painted lines when superimposed, form an unlimited range of (letter) forms. Executed in transparent colourful layers you will discover yourself entering a cathedral on a warm day. In black and white it is more a charcoal calligraphy.
