Dirk was developed by Mark Butchko and published by Central Type Business. Dirk includes 2 designs and family package choices. p > Dirk is a strong, heavy slab serif implied for large, attention getting display usage. Dirk's design lives somewhere in between a Clarendon wood type style and a more modern-day geometric piece serif. It includes the bracketed serifs, big x-height, and short ascenders/descenders of a Clarendon design, but drawn with the accuracy curves and smooth, durable structure of a geometric piece. The outcome keeps the beauty of wood type, but sheds a lot of the over-familiarity and sameness of a digital revival.

Dirk is offered in both a clean, Black weight along with a Stencil variation. Each designs feature a full Western, Central, and South Eastern European character set.
