Queen Alt is a script typeface household. This typeface has two designs and was released by Canada Type.

From the time and location of real Divas, the late Italian 19th century, comes a handwriting that is soft, cultured, classy, down to earth, and capable of going beyond the aesthetic limitations of any era.

And similar to a real Queen, this handwriting connects with its reader immediately and lovingly, calling attention to the art and charm hidden in everything it touches.

Diva was based upon and digitally broadened from a 1930s Nebiolo pen-script style which replicated Italian handwriting styles of the turn of the century. This typeface is a must for anyone who wishes to express a soft, natural, and classical human existence in design.

Ideal for book covers, romance settings, food-and-drink labels, magazine ad, and web sites that can use the individual touch of a Queen. Extra care was taken to keep the outlines readable at script text sizes and smooth and curvy for heading and sign usage, while keeping a reasonable stylish handwriting feel.

A generous variety of alternates and ligatures are consisted of in the plan. Among the alternates, the entire set of minuscules was remodelled for much shorter word endings, some majuscule alternates and individual prefixes were made, along with a couple of other pleasant surprises fit for the handwriting of a Diva.
