A deliberately misproportioned typeface, motivated by hand-drawn lettering discovered in Spanish/Hispanic Catholic churches in the Philippines and Los Angeles. These naive letterforms seemed 'copies of copies'-- and in aiming to recreate the beauty of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel they rather developed something distinct with its own appeal and appeal. Drone‘‘ s letterforms are similar to those discovered in 16th century English calligraphy too.
