The Earth A.D. (After Disaster) household was motivated by the narrow yet heavy and open gothics penned by comic letterers mostly during the late 60ís and early 70ís. After Catastrophe, the initial font that motivated this collection, is a terrific "reader" that stands proud and understandable over its later versions. However comic letterers at that time weren't susceptible or known to reveal comic readers much lowercase lettering. So inspiration was looked for and found not in the uppercase letters as others may have been tempted to do, but in the gothic styles of 30ís and 40ís signwriters. Even the numbers originated from a legitimate source, raised straight off a classic truck speedometer straight out of the 50ís. So everything you see here is genuine. You just need to know where to look.
From the initial After Disaster typeface, six extra faces have spun themselves into presence over the years. This thorough package will put an overall of seven typefaces on your hard-drive, a well-rounded family that has proven itself a hit in signshops around the world since 1999.
