Eckhardt Bold JNL is a display screen sans font household. This typeface has two styles and was released by Jeff Levine Fonts.

Eckhardt Vibrant JNL continues a series of sign painter-inspired type styles and is named in honor of the late Al Eckhardt, a talented indication guy who was a buddy of Jeff Levine for about 18 years up until his passing.

The typeface is offered in both routine and oblique variations and was motivated by an example discovered in the 1928 edition of E.C. Mattthews' "How to Paint Signs and Sho' Cards".

Both squat and wide for optimal use in wall and window applications, the initial name for the style is "Heavy Plug". Plug was the indication painter's term at the time for describing this kind of letter form.
