Elicit Script was developed by Jim Wasco, Laura Worthington and released by Monotype. Generate Script consists of 15 designs and household package choices. p > Elicit Script is a hybrid script household, that can be as casual or formal as the celebration needs. Created by Laura Worthington and Jim Wasco, the style is based upon pointed pen Spencerian Script handwriting. "It's like one of those German italics from the early 20th century, that have lovely shapes that hold their own," says Wasco.

Elicit Script covers five weights, from Additional Light to Bold, and three designs-- Formal, Regular and Casual. This makes it an incredibly versatile script design, easily paired with other typefaces and able to be dressed up or down, depending on what it's used for. The monoline Casual design provides a more relaxed intonation, while Formal sits at the more ornamental end of the spectrum. Designers can keep things simple, neat and practical with the typeface's easy caps, or include in swash caps if they require more vitality and expression. Generous spacing implies Elicit Script works well at smaller sized sizes also.
