Excite was released by K-Type. Excite contains 4 designs and household plan choices. p > Excite is a neo-grotesque typeface called after an x-height that's as high as you can get without compromising the distinction between upper and lower case, helping to make it incredibly legible both in print and on screen.

It is contemporary and large, has short ascenders and descenders, and an airiness enhanced by utilizing both horizontal and vertical endings of open characters like C, S and 3. Uncommonly for a neo-grotesque, Excite has a clean, modern, single storey lowercase A.

Other distinct features include a hexagonal dot/period, and the dog-leg tail of the Q. To avoid confusion between comparable characters, Excite uses functions like horizontal bars on the capital i and a curved tail on the lowercase L.

The Excite family includes four font styles: routine, vibrant, italic and strong italic.
