Designed by Stephen Miggas, Favorite Pro is a hand screen and script typeface family. This typeface has 10 designs and was published by Aerotype.

The casual hand-brushed household Favorite ™ includes scripts in two weights with 3 accompanying handwritten font styles that play well together. The household likewise includes an additional a lot more casual cousin, Fave Casual Script that comes in two weights with its own even more-casual handwritten counterparts, for an overall of 10 typefaces covering the casual spectrum. All are optimized for large type usage too so they look as great up close as they do set at smaller sizes.

The Favorite household has some nifty shows features that occur largely in the background. All of the fonts utilize the OpenType Requirement Ligature feature to instantly separate consecutive lowercase letters and numbers (utilizing different glyphs instead of a single ligature so they can be set on a curve or colored independently, and so on) and like our previous release Turbinado, they also immediately distinguish like characters that are separated by another letter when Standard Ligatures is enabled.

The script font styles also have alternate A-Z characters to select from, as well as lowercase t (and double t) crossbar alternates that can be selected from the OpenType glyph table by hand, or you can make it possible for the Contextual Alternates feature to automatically place a bigger crossbar as the surrounding letters enable throughout a text box or file. You can likewise make your own custom-made lowercase t and crossbar to fit any situation-- all of the lowercase t ascenders and crossbars are offered individually in the OpenType glyph table, and can be integrated and moved around manually.

Fave Script and it's bold counterpart have two Stylistic Sets. When allowed, one automatically substitutes non-connecting alternate characters at the ends of words, the other replacements even bigger t crossbars than the Requirement Ligature feature does. Sometimes you just desire more crossbar.

Other subtle but ideally useful features consist of smart apostrophes, which place themselves in between two script characters in common circumstances without breaking their connection, and a few ligatures that also make character connections more seamless.
