French type designer Jean François Porchez developed this serif FontFont in 1995.

The household has 11 weights, ranging from Regular to Black (consisting of italics) and is preferably fit for book text, festive celebrations, editorial and publishing in addition to small text.

FF Angie supplies sophisticated typographical support with features such as ligatures, little capitals, case-sensitive types, fractions, extremely- and subscript characters, and stylistic alternates.

It includes a total series of figure set choices-- oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths.

In 1990, FF Angie got the Morisawa award.
