Dutch type designer Martin Majoor produced this sans FontFont in between 1993 and 2003.

The family has 10 weights, varying from Light to Black in Condensed and Normal (including italics) and is preferably fit for marketing and product packaging, book text, editorial and publishing, logo, branding and innovative industries, little text, wayfinding and signs as well as web and screen design.

FF Scala Sans provides sophisticated typographical support with features such as ligatures, small capitals, alternate characters, case-sensitive forms, portions, and incredibly- and subscript characters.

It comes with a complete variety of figure set alternatives-- oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths.
