Filmotype Tune was created by Rian Hughes and released by Filmotype. Filmotype Melody includes 1 design. p > Initially released in the late 1950s, Filmotype expanded it's Totally free Design typeface classification with the intro of Tune, an offbeat Googie period doo-wop typeface which was most regularly related to music and home entertainment lettering styles throughout the last 1950s and early 1960s just as Elvis and the Beatles were making the scene. To expand the versatility of this wonderful typeface, designer Rian Hughes developed and remastered new condensed and broadened variations of Tune called Melon and Mellow respectively.

Each weight of the Filmotype Tune household was established from the original typeface filmstrips and consists of a complete worldwide character compliment, automatic fractionals, ordinals, and a host of alternate characters in dynamic OpenType format.
