Forgia is a result of my fascination with the charm I discover in practical commercial objects like the riveted stanchions in New York train stations, ornamental ironwork in Grand Central terminal and the significant building information of the urban infrastructure of the 19th and early 20th century.

It began its life as die-raised sign typography for a magazine cover assignment, established further for a book cover about mid-20th century American production and progressed into a complete font plus 4 individual elements suitable for producing numerous color variations.

The Forgia package is a five font set that allows up to 4 specific colors to be used to live type.
