Freude was initially developed for the album artwork of the Austrian artist Tombeck. The word Freude means "delight" in German. Supplemented by the addition of lowercase letters and fine-tuned by numerous OpenType features, the Freude typeface is charmingly playful. Created for whatever fun, its design is unwinded and pleasant-- ideal for mother's kids, chocolate freaks and pranksters alike. Thanks to its well balanced letterforms, Freude is equally entertaining in both large and small sizes.
