Designed by Missy Meyer, Frogurt is a screen slab and hand show font published by Missy Meyer.

Frogurt is a soft, plump, rounded slab serif typeface complete of fun! Its fat curves make me consider frozen yogurt, and I have actually always preferred the shorthand "frogurt" to "fro-yo."

.

I was influenced by a 30-year-old hand-carved wood sign; when I went to look for a font with a comparable appearance, I couldn't really discover anything soft and funky enough! It was a real Goldilocks circumstance: that a person was too thin, that a person's corners were too sharp, that one's baseline was too stringent. So since I could not find something I liked, I made something I liked!

.

I offered Frogurt big pillowy slab serifs, a slightly irregular standard, and simply adequate tilt and variation to be enjoyable while still keeping things actually clean and readable. The details are tidied up and sharp, so Frogurt will work well for both printing and cutting.

.

Frogurt clocks in with just over 570 glyphs total, consisting of all of the basics (A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and a lots of punctuation), plus over 310 extended Latin characters for language support, and over 50 alternates and ligatures to add some range and style. Frogurt is PUA-encoded for easy access to all characters.
