Developed by Gabriel Meave, Fulgora is a foreign and script font style household. This typeface has 2 styles and was released by Sudtipos.

Fulgora is a sort of 'calligraphic typography' or 'typographic calligraphy', depending upon the point of view.

Inspired by late-medieval Bâtarde and Civilité blackletter designs, the Kannada and Sinhala composing systems from Southern India, Celtic uncials, and diverse vernacular Mexican scripts, Fulgora was produced directly from pen on paper as a personal calligraphic style where dream in the chief component. The idea to take it to the digital world came later, as an extension of the imaginative process.

To this end, originals for each character were made, directly traced with the nib without any retouching, then vectorized to be digitally put together. Work has actually been done on spacing and kerning with the aim to digitally reproduce an entirely calligraphic outcome keeping the natural, imperfect, manual finish of all signs.

Fulgora has 2 versions: Blanca (white) and Negra (black), performed with different nib widths but the very same design and proportions.

Font Family:
· Fulgora Blanca
· Fulgora Negra
