Developed by Ingo Zimmerman, Fundstueck is a pixel typeface released by ingoFonts.

Inspired by a rusty piece of metal, a coarse however decorative typeface was created.

Fonts can be so simple. The font style is based on a 5mm system. The noticeably thick middle stroke of E recommends that the focus is not necessarily put on the typical stroke, and likewise with the other characters. But if the font is going to be somewhat understandable, then you can not overlook inclined strokes entirely.

A font designed in this method doesn't truly have to be incredibly clear, which is why I forwent developing lower case letters. However, Fundstueck still includes some varied kinds in the design of upper and lower case letters. Thus, the typeface is a bit richer in variety.

Fundstueck includes just the alphabet and the usual Western European accents (without the Scandinavian). Just the most essential punctuation is consisted of.
By the method-- the "lower" letters with accents and umlauts stay between the baseline and cap height. And with that, you get fantastic ribbon-type lines.
