Glovis is a 'typewriter' font style-- indicating monospaced (all characters use the exact same width)-- and is also italic.
But the italic style was initially created to take less space than roman: its letters are a little bent and a bit narrowed. So a typeface monospaced and italic is rather paradoxical!
