Gothic 725 is the Bitstream variation of Akzidenz-Grotesk first released in 1898 by H. Berthold type foundry (Berlin). It is among the most popular earliest Sans Serifs referred to as Grotesques. As its name says Akzidenz-Grotesk is perfect for 'jobbing' printing, tables, headlines and newsletters. Also the face was often used as a body type specifically in the middle of the 20th century by a Swiss style movement. Cyrillic variation was developed for ParaType in 2002 by Tagir Safayev.
