It's a screen geometric sans developed with Stencil-like aspects and letter cutouts specifically created for visual impact-- ideal for logo, branding and advertising functions. The typeface consists of capitals and capital alternatives in the lower case keystroke positions-- it's like having 2 screen fonts in one. In addition, Gothica consists of numerous opentype functions that enable graphic designers to tailor the type for custom-made needs.

The development of Gothica started in 1997, motivated by Alex Kaczun's finest selling monstrous font family called Contax Pro. A speculative design, Gothica is specifically presented as a vibrant weight, but Alex prepares to broaden the style to include many weights, designs and alternative design treatments. Stay tuned!
