Publisher: CastleTypeCastleType's version of Goudy Text is based on drawings from which Frederic Goudy based his Goudy Text typeface. Nevertheless, there is a big distinction in between his original drawings (in The Alphabet and Components of Lettering) and the subsequent metal type version, and my version keeps the greater heat (and abnormalities) of the original drawings. Goudy's Lombardy caps look specifically good when used as initial capitals with Goudy Text.
