The rustic lettering which likewise acted as the design for Grist Mill JNL is the basis for Gristwood JNL. Another set of classic wood type has the letters reversed out of blocks, making for a specialized entitling font.

Decorative end caps are located on the higher and less than secrets and likewise on the plus and equal secrets. A blank block for regular word spacing is on the highlight crucial, along with a wider blank box on the backslash secret. This typeface has a rather limited character set.
