Developed by Robbie de Villiers, Halla is a sans serif typeface family. This typeface has 2 styles and was published by Wilton Foundry.

Creating Halla was a bit uncommon for me given that I started out producing the italic variation initially which inspired the name Halla, meaning to tilt in Icelandic. It is also a fairly typical female name in Iceland. "Halla" is derived from old Norse word "hallr" = ‘‘ flat stone, rock' or ‘‘ sloping, leaning to one side.'

Halla is a real italic influenced by handwriting and mechanical type.

The mix of Light and Italic makes Halla perfect for marketing, branding, signs, packaging and editorial design.
