Difficult Rain was developed by Anton Scholtz and released by Scholtz Fonts. Tough Rain consists of 1 design. p > Difficult Rain is called after the torrential thunderstorms that take place in the subtropical areas on the east coast of southern Africa-- the land of the Zulu. Throughout the two-month long rainy season the steamy downpour usually lasts for a couple of days, and is then followed by the welcoming sun.

The diagonal stripes represent the heavy drops of water that drench whatever they touch. The resulting font has something of a grunge look to it. Similar to other grunge typefaces, Difficult Rain is best utilized for posters and display work. Nevertheless, the crisp edges suggest that it can be very readable even if utilized at a little size.

Unlike most grunge fonts, Tough Rain has a complete character set and this considerably extends its use.
