Introducing Historical Warehouse, a considerable, yet stylish household, conjuring up advertising fonts of the early 20th century. Why the name? When asked to design a banner for Tucson's Historic Storage facility District, I could not discover the appearance I desired from any recognized typefaces. After drawing what I wanted in Illustrator, there were three (and at the same time, four) fonts simply waiting to be realized. Delighted to require. Here's Historic Warehouse Routine, setting the stage. It's durable, vibrant, and plays curves against rounded angular shapes. To its left is Historical Warehouse Condensed, trim, sophisticated and at its best at extremely big sizes; to the right is Historic Storage facility Wide, with captivating style and presence. Finally, there's Historic Storage facility Extended, elegant in its percentages, with a beautifully-crafted type like a great carriage.
As the song states, "Whatever Old Is New Again," and this household looks as fresh and clean at the beginning of this century as it may have at the start of the last.
