Early Texas patriots had fascinating penmanship. In looking into Texas Hero years ago, I had celebration to pore over copies of letters by the likes of Stephen F. Austin, William B. Travis, Thomas J. Rusk, and others. Austin's hand was quite untidy. Young, brave Travis wrote his last throughout the Alamo siege. Rusk's suited my original job. But a couple other designs caught my eye-- amongst them the vibrant yet stylish strokes of Sam Houston, the Texas hero. Just like the guy himself, Houston Pen exhibits a specific grandness, openness, clearness, and style. OpenType functions consist of many discretionary ligatures, contextual alternates, lining and old-style figures, and complete Central/Eastern European alphabets.
