Hunter has a wilder streak than other brush scripts. Its irregular terminals offer it a nearly wood look and a most natural, hand-made expression. This natural appearance was extended by the growth of the initial style and the addition of some alternates and ligatures, developed within the typeface and quickly available from any program's glyph palette.

Hunter was also a little customized to accommodate not just sentence- and lowercase-setting, but also all-capital setting, which is a flexibility hardly ever discovered in a lot of brush scripts.
