HWT Arabesque was developed by Terry Wüdenbachs and published by Hamilton Wood Type Foundry. HWT Arabesque includes 1 style. p > A long lost Art Nouveau wood type from the Hamilton Museum Collection evokes the excesses of Victorian design and the equally eccentric 1960s Psychedelic age revival of the Victorian type designs. Free flowing organic designs that flourished with Art Nouveau in the late 1800s were directly referenced and more distorted with phototype in the late 1960s. This design, known as Arabesque, was produced by the Morgans & & Wilcox Co. and the Wm. Page Co. as nearly similar designs. Both makers were obtained by Hamilton and offered briefly by Hamilton as style # 618.

This curious wood type defies most of the standard tenets of type style and what enters your mind when one believes 'wood type'. Lots of characters have a lively eccentricity that were all left real to the original design. Extra characters were created to submit the standard variety of characters discovered in digital fonts. This font style includes over 280 characters for full unicode assistance of Western and Central European Latin characters.
