Inspired by the Ernö Goldfinger's east London tower block of the very same name, II Balfron is an enforcing, all caps, one-weight typeface. Brutalist in kind, the characters embody the principles of the distinct 27-storey concrete profile with unanticipated angles set within a rigid, structural grid. Similar to Goldfinger's humanist, utopian housing suitables, the font is best viewed at large scale.
