Indikator is a household of humanist-style sans serif typefaces. There are five weights in the Sign household; these variety from Light through Strong. Each weight has both an upright in addition to an italic font style on deal. The italic font styles include slanted, or oblique-style letters. The letters in each of
Indikator's weights appear virtually monolinear, in regards to stoke contrast. Strokes end in either horizontal or vertical cuts, instead of in diagonals. The typefaces have a big x-height, and the lowercase letters' ascenders are taller than the heights of the uppercase.
Indikator's characters are tabular lining figures; these are simply as tall as the fonts' uppercase. The font styles' OpenType functions include alternate kinds for the 'I', 'J', '4', 'i', and 'l'-- in addition to a more Scandinavian version of the 'Å'. There is also an alternate variation of the no, with a slash going through its counter.
Indikator had a great deal of character and vigor than lots of other humanist sans serif households. It feels a little 'old-timey,' like it is funneling design concepts from the very first half of the twentieth century, rather today's Silicon-Valley-style designs.
Indikator is an exceptional choice for use in business interaction or editorial style work. It will definitely also come to excellent usage in publications about modern culture and lifestyle concerns.
