ION C was created by Ondrej Jób and released by Setup. ION C consists of 11 designs and household bundle choices. p > ION C is a part of the ION superfamily, which includes 3 families: condensed (ION A), regular (ION B) and large (ION C), each having an engaging range of 10 weights. Designs Thin to Black have 436 glyphs supporting more than 70 Latin-based languages and the 3 heaviest weights, called U1, U2 and U3 have 94 standard glyphs.

ION glyphs are based on the timeless 7-segment screen, but for readability and aesthetic factors, some alphabetic characters do not follow this matrix strictly. In case you like things in order, don't fret, there's a stylistic set that replaces all characters with their stringent alternatives. The special characters, such as #, @ or % are made up of unique sectors, however are created to fit effortlessly within the entire character set.

ION was designed with the requirements of contemporary graphic design in mind. There are alternative characters, discretionary ligatures, slashed no, superior & & inferior numbers, portions, ordinals and 3 convenient stylistic sets.

The ten styles of ION C are accompanied with a special 11th design called Cells, enabling you to create a special underlying layer of black or laid out cells. In this manner you can create numerous containers and boxes for your text, highlight what is necessary or go wild and draw an area invader, utilizing the cells as building blocks.
